Healthy Fudge Truffles

A gluten, dairy and refined sugar free treat or afternoon snack! PERFECT if you're craving chocolate!

Ingredients

2 cups pitted dates

1 cup hazelnut meal

1 cup walnuts

1/4 cup vital vanilla protein (optional)

3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

3 tablespoons macadamia nut milk (or almond) (+ 1 tbsp warm water if mixture is too dry)

1/2 cup cacao powder

1/2 cup desiccated coconut

Method

1. Place all ingredients in food processor, process until well combined and the mixture becomes dough like.

2. Roll into balls to desired size and coat with desiccated coconut.

3. Place in fridge to set then enjoy!

 

Tip: Store in fridge to keep chilled so they maintain their fudge-like texture.
