5 Tips to Say Goodbye to Cellulite This Summer
Summer has almost arrived - swimsuit season and warm beach day are about to begin.
Cellulite is common among many women and is usually due to hormones (just part of being a woman!). Diet and lifestyle can pay a huge factor in reducing the appearance of cellulite.
So the good news is, if you have cellulite and wish it wasn't there, you will be able to significantly reduce it's appearance by following my tips below!
Here are my best tips for reducing the appearance of cellulite just in time for summer:
1. Increase your water intake.
By flushing out toxins in your body you can reduce cellulite. Aim for 2.5 litres of water per day.
2. Avoid processed foods.
This includes refined sugars (as well as reducing your overall sugar intake), minimise alcohol intake, fatty foods and high sodium foods.
3. Start dry body brushing daily before bathing.
Dry body brushing has shown to increase circulation and reduce cellulite. Also, epsom salt baths are highly beneficial for overall health and the reduction of cellulite as magnesium sulphate promotes vasodilation. Add a scoop of epsom salts to a warm bath!
4. Increase your daily intake of fresh produce.
This includes leafy greens and raw vegetables broccoli, rocket etc. Add fresh produce to every meal. A great way to ensure you are getting adequate greens into your diet is by drinking a green smoothie each morning. This will help to support detoxification.
5. Exercise for 30 minutes per day.
Even a 30-minute walk is enough to get your blood pumping and support circulation.
