Easy Raw Chocolate

Here is a basic recipe to make raw chocolate! I have used coconut oil but another alternative is cacao butter (can be quite expensive).

Ingredients:

3/4 cup coconut oil

3/4 cup agave syrup (preferably) or rice malt syrup

1 cup raw cacao powder

Optional: 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean

You can add your choice of fruit and nuts, I have found that hazelnuts, walnuts and pistachios work best. You can also add fruit such as berries and mango, then freeze as a slice & cut up and serve into small pieces.

Method:

Mix all ingredients together, pour into moulds then place in fridge or freezer to set.
